Drove dependent to school

This morning I drove my dependent to school. In fact I drove to school twice. My relation picked up our dependent after school. I stayed home. Thank you. 

Drive Alone II

Yesterday I drove alone again. This time I drove a little further. Only a little anxiety this time. 

On another note my dedendent's teacher is on extended leave. No one knows for how long. Two different subs have been used.  Next week another sub will be in for the week. I think many see happy about that. Quite a few kids were sent to detention yesterday. Today many were sent to another classroom for not finishing their work before recess. Teacher told me T was on top of D to finish. D just kept looking at T. D started off with a bad day. Good luck. 

Driving Alone

I drove alone in my car within the last few days. I drove first to the corner. Then I drove around the block. Right turns only. They're safe. Seeing I wasn't hyperventilating I decided to drive around the block with left turns. Still no problems. I then decided to expand my drive to two blocks. I had a blast. I had a little anxiety (level 2/10) but it went away. I emailed my team to let them know. My family is happy for me. 

New dosage starts today.

Today my Lexapro dosage drops 10mg again. I continue .5 Xanax daily. Next week I'll see the dr. to see @ new Rx. 

Xanax

So far I have taken my Xanax (0.5) daily. I have also taken both BP Rx along with the cholesterol. I need to measure my BP. 

A difference already?

I'm keeping tabs on my side effects from coming off Lexapro. First day I was knocked out. I missed Sherlock on PBS. However I was with my D watching a movie. 

My Rx change

I saw my team. Dr. F. Is taking me off lexapro over a two week period. At the same time I am now taking Xanax on a daily basis. I am also to check my BP once a week. And see if my current BP Rx is correct or too high. 

G. saw my dependent today. We learned that D. gets nervous taking math tests. D. begins to have a case of the itchies and scratches. This doesn't allow D. to finish the test. Same thing happened with AR quizzes in 1st grade.

My tongue

My tongue and I are doing much better now. Not so many cracked lines on it. The division in the back is closing. I continue to drink close to six cups of water a day. Today I had a cup of Gatorade as well. I'm waiting for the dark lines to go away. 

Scouting

Today my dependent went to a scout meeting. First one! Really excited. Already earned first badge. At every meeting they work towards completing a badge requirement. Business entrepreneurship. Another being worked in is animals.

Water water water

The past few days I've been purposely drinking more water. I changed out my paltry 8oz water bottle for a 3-cup 7-11 reusable, chiller cup. First day I drank five cups. Yesterday I drank seven cups. I noticed my skin loosened up. My double chin fell down loosely. My salivary glands kicked in again. My tongue looked better.  Of course, my Relation kept mentioning how I might be afraid of drowning from drinking too much water. R was no help to me. I spoke to my parents, a sibling and a cousin. Talking to my cousin was short lived because our dependent started playing with my cousin on the phone. 

It's 9:06am right now. So far I've drunk close to two cups of water. I sip it. Throughout the day.

In the 2nd picture my tongue is wet. My gums aren't squeaky; they're moist. That's a positive. 

I spoke to my case manager this eve. I'm considering going in tomorrow am cuz my throat keeps reacting to the amount of water I drink. So does my excratory system. I get cramps. I got cramps before drinking more water. Constipation is a side effect. Today when we returned I went to the bathroom because I HAD TO GO!  I went #2. Then I felt like something else had to happen. I wasn't sure if more #2 or vomit. More #2 occurred. IT REALLY DID! I struggled and it came out. During this interlude I took off my clothes to feel more comfortable. In the end, I finished, got dressed, and tried to relax. 

My double chin kept coming in and out of my chin. That BOTHERED me a lot. Cause(s/d) me anxiety so I contacted my case manager. 

7:37pm. I'm feeling better now. Throat still bothers me. 

Side Effects of BP Medication

It's been a week since I've had to take a Xanax. I'm very happy about that. I saw a new doctor yesterday when I got the flu shot. I talked so much about my mess we alarmist forgot my flu shot.

My BP was 126/74. I was happy because I didn't take anything extra to keep me calm. I only took my BP Rxs. I spoke to the practitioner about my mess and the side effects of my new BP pill. Dry mouth, dry tongue, dry skin, constipation and stomach cramps. So I showed the practitioner my tongue to better determine the side effects I'm going through.

My tongue is cracked in certain parts. There's a thin layer of liquid on it as well. The tip has black spots popping out. At what point so I stop taking this Rx? It has made me feel better, though. I told the practitioner this. The practitioner gave me a Rx for the constipation (use as needed), a Rx for special lotion,

My weight didn't go up. :-))). However, it didn't go down either. :-(. I need to lose weight!!!

The one thing I changed today to improve my health is I switched out my reusable water bottle. I went from having an 8oz sports bottle to a three cup reusable 7-11 chiller cup. I already drank 3 cups. My tongue looks better.  The black spots went away. The cracks are less separated. I'll post a pic at the bottom.

Hobbies in the new year

We picked up new hobbies this year. I have started making bookmarks out of plastic canvases. I use lanyard and yarn. My relation picked up para cord bracelet making. R enjoys practicing and honing in the skills required to do this. Our dependent picked up rubber band loom making. 

Eyeglasses

Our dependent is wearing backup glasses. My parents got on me about their grand dependent wearing glasses not sturdy enough. "Too pretty" for an active child. Well guess what, the ugly medi-cal glasses are being used now. I told my dependent to tell us when the glasses became wobbly. 

Apparently after the glasses fell off the face they were accidentally stepped on by the person running behind.     Dependent still won't tell the truth about what happened. 

After school we had the glasses mended at the optometrist. We will pick them up another day. 

My hiatus

There's a reason why I didn't post for close to a trimester. The teacher! Hate the teacher. Asked to have my dependent moved principal said no and gave a reason. Had an SST then everyone jumps in the homeschooling. Just throw my dependent away! 

I discovered the teacher is anal about student performance. Teacher expects everyone to do the same work all the time. This is third grade. You can do that in middle school or high school. Lower grade still requires creativity. Oh and btw did the teacher actually MODEL te performance? Probably not to the extent wanted. 

This teacher pissed me off so bad my BP rose to 168/98!  Mi now take a new 2nd BP pill. Bitchy bastard. 

In the meantime I started volunteering at te school library. The librarian is a wonderful person. Positive. The librarian was in great need of help when I asked to volunteer. The pm librarian was outon  sick leave. The books were piled up. The computer kept freezing up. And yet the principal still required the books be loaned out to the students so they could pass their AR QUIZZES. My job was to write the personal data of every return and out going of books. The librarians job was to get the computer fixed!  

Once the computer was fixed it became easy to borrow and return books; except for the occasional freeze up that would reoccur later!  

When the computer was fixed, the software FINALLY updated and a data padd added the librarian discovered a few students still owed books to the school. It all got straightened out.

Dependent's glasses broke today.

Today my dependent's glasses broke during PE. These glasses, we paid $200.00.tx!!  The back up glasses are being used right now. Unhappy with the situation.
