Less isolation more independence

Today I took the initiative and walked by myself to the far corner. I did this without family. I did it without the family pet. I did it without listening or playing with my handheld electronic. I was able to walk down to the corner and back without any piqued anxiety. Yay!

Later I walked more with my family.

Dash transportation

I have been approved for dash transportation for one year. This means I have to make an appt for transportation in advance. Only one round trip a day. They can transport me to my medical clinic because it is in the extended area outside the city. Free transportation means I can save money on gas.  I am dependent on THEIR pick up time.

Happy Easter Happy Passover

I made it to Easter mass for the first time in YEARS. I was dressed out of my comfort zone. I had my dependent with me. We sat in the crying zone.

Drove to Michael's

Today I drove to Michaels thinking it was Saturday. I was aiming for a specific class. Well it turns out I was a day early. Oops. So I registered for the class tomorrow and again in March.
I got a bit nervous coming home. I called my relation to help keep me calm on the drive home. It worked.  Yay!

This week

Well fatigue set in on me this week. Not from medication just hormones. I've driven my dependent to school a few times this past week--ALONE. RELATION was still fast asleep. I did bit drive D and I to services Sunday. R took us. I need to work on that. I did drive us to a discount store nearby.

This Friday will mark a week off of Lexapro completely. I had been on the Rx for 11 years. The Rx just wasn't working for me anymore. D realized it and argued with me about this for a year before I was ready to move in from it. I've been on Xanax everyday now. Only .5 dose. I see my Dr. in a few weeks for a follow up. My sibling asked how I'm doing. Worried about the addiction factor like myself. When the Dr said "this is what you're going to do." I finally agreed and did it. I'm not on any replacement for Lexapro yet. Dr will see how I'm doing first.

Drove dependent to school

This morning I drove my dependent to school. In fact I drove to school twice. My relation picked up our dependent after school. I stayed home. Thank you.

Drive Alone II

Yesterday I drove alone again. This time I drove a little further. Only a little anxiety this time.

On another note my dedendent's teacher is on extended leave. No one knows for how long. Two different subs have been used.  Next week another sub will be in for the week. I think many see happy about that. Quite a few kids were sent to detention yesterday. Today many were sent to another classroom for not finishing their work before recess. Teacher told me T was on top of D to finish. D just kept looking at T. D started off with a bad day. Good luck.
